  1. Smart Home Solver says:

Thanks for watching! Here’s the link for the free Audible trial: Also here are the notes for how to set up these automations:
Of course these are all just ideas, and you could implement just a few so your house isn’t TOO automated (wait, is that possible…?)

  2. Andrew Hargrave says:

Great automation. Not so great cables showing everywhere! Ha, nice work.

  3. babolatpdtp says:

Cool ideas, but I’ll do all of this type of automation once everything is unified under the same system. These days it’s hubs for: apple, google, smart things, august, blink, Philips hue, wyze… Especially bad when the hubs all require ethernet connections. On top of that, they all have different automation integration points: some ifttt, some their app only, some home kit, some only smart things. Makes it really hard to do clean automations that are maintenance free

  4. Kapil Kanojia says:

    Great innovation with nice rules!

I wish I could hire you and redo the same at my home ?

  5. James S says:

I wonder how often you go around fixing your automations after someone comes by and messes something up…

  6. Vincent Vega says:

This video was AWESOME, BUT, how long everyday do you spend setting your notifications and meeting schedule etc.?

  7. theluckynumber says:

I’d love to see how you’ve set up all the wiring and plugs for all the lights and light strips, especially in the kitchen. We don’t have a whole lot of outlets where I could easily hide the cables, so that’s one of my main challenges to get wife-approval for adding more smart lights to the house

  8. Ty Back says:

I’m “new” to home automation. Presently I only have some basement lights and some google minis on some routines. I’d like to know more details on hardware needed and how to program the automations you have. Great ideas!

  9. Dominik says:

Is there a way to extend the Alexa routines? There are too few possibilities to set triggers.

  10. Kacper Stankiewicz says:

I love your videos man! Thanks for this automation tips! Regards from Madrid
